I’m a wee bit disappointed in myself for being slightly behind with this post (and one to come), but hey, better late than never right?! So, I’d like to share the books I’ll be rereading this particular Autumn season!! (Spoiler: I’ve already reread half of these by this point. Lol.)
Six of Crows & Crooked Kingdom
First, yes. Yes I will be rereading Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom this year. After finally reading the Grisha trilogy a couple of months ago, I’ve been wanting to dive back into Ketterdam and Matthias Benedik Helvar’s dreamy blue eyes. In fact, I’m probably already midway through SoC as this post goes up! :’)

An Old-Fashioned Girl
It simply would not be Autumn for me without my annual read of An Old-Fashioned Girl by Louisa May Alcott. I need to write an entire exposition on the character of Polly one day because I adore her. Out of all the fictional characters I have ever read, romanticized, and admired, she comes in first place. And this is coming from someone who would choose to read LOTR and The Chronicles of Narnia for the rest of her life if told she had to pick.
Anyway, I’m actually halfway through this read as I write this, and I will probably finish this most wonderful story tonight :’) (Again, I’m so dreadfully late with this post haha.)
In the Lake of the Woods
Finally, I (have already reread bc this is oh so late) have In the Lake of the Woods on the reread list. I mentioned it in my Autumnal Book List last year (those photos remain my most elite, tbh) as it’s quite a spooky read for this time of year. I haven’t visited this book since I first read it for a lit class about 2 1/2 years ago! It’s short, but it definitely packs a punch. A lot of deep themes are explored in an unsettling way.
