One of these days, I’ll have a fancy pants DSLR, and I’ll live in a cute little apartment or home, and my annual photos of my seasonal bits will look so much nicer, BUT. Today is not that day!! :’) Things are looking a bit different from last year, as I had a desk hutch then, and I used my little end table. However, that doesn’t mean it’s any less cosy 😉 If anything, it’s cosier than ever! Anyhow, here are some snapshots from my 2020 Autumn Decor…
Desk
These are the bits I’ve got on my desk this year!! (The little bag has two sides. I opt for the orange leaf during October, and I switch it come November.) I’m a bit obsessed with the arrangement I made around my beer stein. That green mini-pumpkin is one of a few that I picked up from Target this year :’)
Dresser
Part 1 of 2 of the best parts in my room this year! I somehow always manage to dress my dresser haha i am hilarious in a way that satisfies me immensely.
As always, I weaved a leaf garland in and out of the major parts—my scent pod, Franklin, the flower arrangement, and the mason jar. I also added little bits—the cute, purple pumpkin, mini-autumnal arrangements, and the Sugar Cookie candle from Target :’) (It smells divine.) (I’ve also added another mini-candle since taking these photos lol.)
Bookcase
Annnnd, part 2 of 2 of the best parts in my room. It’s so fun to decide—albeit, painstakingly at times lol—where I’m going to put what, and how I’m going to arrange everything.
This year, I actually opted to take quite a few books off of my shelves, and keep the ones that fit the aEsThEtIc best hehe. I put the golden yellow pumpkin atop the Grisha trilogy–because the gold accents, duh. I put the orange one atop the Penguin classics, to bring out the orange accents on those covers. And, I put the beige pumpkin near the beige/orange books on the following shelf. Monumental, amirite.
