Another year, another Fall season

Can you believe the year has flown by so quickly?! I have to pinch myself sometimes because it’s ridiculous that we’re already in Autumn with October about to start! I’ve now written two posts on my Fall room decor, one from last year & one the very first year I started blogging. (I even wrote a guest post on my Autumn favs for my best friend & fellow blogger, Sophie at Petals of Perfection, before I was a blogger myself. The picture quality makes me cringe omg, read that if you want a laugh.) It would just wrong if I didn’t share my 2019 Autumn Decor with you all :’)
I’m not gonna pretend that I have changed it up all that much. However, as I have purchased a couple of new bits & now have a desk hutch which allows for more decorating space, I think that what I did this year is the cutest yet. I hope y’all like it hehe.
Bookcase Bits

There are leaves EVERYWHERE. Not only did I drape them around here, but I have a few scattered in front of books on a lower shelf, and I have a smaller garland at the very top of my bookcase. I went for red ones in front of this ADORABLE pumpkin light that only cost me $5 at Target!!! I took these photos in the morning light, so trust me when I tell you that this little guy is a lot brighter than he looks here.
Desk Hutch Pieces

Franklin the Owl is still very much alive & ready for Autumn, 4 years after his purchase. He’s one of my favourite pieces, & I’m always so excited to decide where I’m gonna pop him. One of my new little bits is the oatmeal-coloured pumpkin that I also picked up at Target when I got the pumpkin light.
Again, there are leaves everywhere, little autumnal arrangements, & a cute little Fall-forest candle. (That shiny tin with the Big Ben on it is actually a huge collection of teas that my bff got me for Christmas a couple of years ago; I have slowly made my way through it. How pretty is it?! I think the colours make it an excellent addition to my 2019 Autumn decor.)
Dresser Decor

What you can’t see are my scent pods on the right & scent pod warmer on the left. I have the yummiest ones for Fall: Candy Corn, Pumpkin Pie, & Mulled Cider. I will ALWAYS have Gold Canyon candles or pods in my room for every season of the year because they are truly the best. (If they don’t sponsor me one day, I will ~quit~) The little heart at the very top of this post is the other little bit I have up on my dresser.
Nightstand Favourites
This little part of my room is actually my favourite. I have some well-loved pieces here, and the little orange pumpkin is the newest addition. (Picked this up with the light & other little one.) I forgot to take a picture of my little scarecrow that hangs above this, but that’s okay, he’s been seen before :’) I think it’s one of the warmest areas; it’s right next to my bed, so that makes it even better.
Decorating Day
I had the loveliest day when I put all of these decorations up. It was the Autumnal Day I had planned for a couple of weeks. I woke up early, went for my run, got ready for the day, and went to Starbucks with my momma to do some work. I had my first PSL of the season, wrote my Autumn Mood Board post, and enjoyed myself to the fullest.
Upon returning home, I took down my Summer bits & put all the Autumnal ones on my bed. I took a 3-hour intermission to watch Auburn WHIP ON A&M. After the victory, I had my late lunch & got back into the decorating. It took me a couple of hours (as it always does) to get everything just right, but I was very pleased with the final result!
How did you all like my 2019 Autumn decor? If you were here for last year’s post (& you actually remember it), how does it compare? Do you decorate for Fall? Let me know 🙂 Thank you for reading!! <333
