About Brine & Books
This little online inlet (get it hah) is chiefly a place for me to gush about the books and characters that make me swoon. It’s also a space for some general life ramblings, photo dumps, & creative writing pieces. my brand

Stick around if you luv classic lit, fancy some fantasy, and like a bit of non-fiction, frequent-ish photo diaries, & the occasional ramble. my brand
About the Blogger
My name is Macey, and before anything else, I’m an undeserving follower of Christ. I walk with Him because God loved me first, sent His Son to pay for my sins, and granted me saving faith that I could not have found alone and without His grace. I aim to glorify Christ with every aspect of who I am and what I do. Solus Christus, sola gratia, sola fide, sola scriptura, & soli deo gloria!
Aside from that, I’ve a Bachelors of Science in History and am currently working on my Master of Arts in Teaching!

I’ve been a reader since I was 4, and it’s the longest love of my life. I am never without a book & generally juggle a few reads at once.

Writing was a learned—yet honed—and now beloved hobby. I primarily write non-fiction in the form of personal essays & the occasional poem, but I have begun to properly dabble in fiction since November 2020.

And the sea—the roaring, foaming, everlasting ocean—is the anchor of my affections, the common denominator of all that I hold dear, and the most glorious of the wonders of the world.
