Ahhhh, Christmastime has come again!! I am so, so, so excited for all the festive posts I’ll be writing this month. Last year, I managed to post almost every other day for Blogmas, and I did that with four final exams pursuing me during the first half of December. (Can I do it again this year? Stay tuned, lol.) This year, I’ll be doing the 12 Days of Blogmas, as inspired by the lovely Imogen who did it last year. So, every even day of the month, up until the 24th, I’ll have a new blog post up: Christmas themed, of course! Day one of Blogmas 2019 is all about the items on my Christmas wishlist.
Now, of course, Christmas is not about receiving gifts. I preface with that every year because I feel like it always needs to be said. Take time this month to appreciate the magic in the air, and spread kindness. Enjoy the company of your family and friends, and reflect on the blessings of the year.
At the same time, there’s nothing wrong with expressing what items are on your wishlist, so that’s exactly what I’m going to do today hehe!
2019 Christmas Wishlist
1. Books. Allll the books. I’ll gladly take anything from my Goodreads TBR, but if I’m gonna get specific, I really want the Grishaverse Trilogy, or a few Tolkien picks: Beren and Luthien, The Children of Hurin, and/or The Fall of Gondolin. (Or all of them ;))
2. Anything Switchfoot. A hoodie??? The windbreaker?? Pins?? Posters??? I’m there. I <3 them sm.
3. Since I am now a hoe, *ahem*, for coffee (still love & adore tea tho), I would love a french press, coffee beans, Starbucks drinkware, or of course, more mugs to add to my little growing collection.
4. A box of assorted teas; my best friend got me one once, a couple of years ago, and I was surprised by the genius of that gift.
5. I’ve gotten a lot more into being an organized queen this year, and I like to annotate & colour code my notes & planner. So, I’d love some of those pretty pens and highlighters that all the studyblrs use :’)
6. On that note, I am always down for expanding my journal & stationary collection hehe.
7. I kinda love jewelry now. Not all of it, because too much is too much effort haha. I am, however, a sucker for necklaces & earrings. Gold is my fav; I think it suits my skin tone best 🙂

I’m so excited to go gift shopping for my family and friends–it’s the only time of year that I actually enjoy shopping :’) There’s something about the hustle and bustle that I really enjoy.
