June was such a lovely month. It went by a bit too fast for my tastes, however. It’s always the good ones that do that, isn’t it?? Here’s my little recap of all the things I loved about the month of June!
I kicked off the month by going to my old high school’s graduation ceremony to see my sister in Court of Honour (select juniors with quality academic standing & participation in Leadership dress up and walk in before the graduating class as well as stand/sit by the entry as the graduates make their way to their seats). My cousin & I also messed around and took pictures afterward:’)
My little brother graduated from the 8th grade and is now going to be in high school this fall :’( Time flies waaaay to fast, and I can’t believe he’s this big now. Needless to say, June 8th was a special day for my entire family.
Summer means new decorations, sunbathing, pool time, and ages spent reading allllll the books—PURE BLISS.
Celebrated my sweet friend’s birthday with our circle of friends—Five Guys (yum!!) and Aladdin (my heart!!). Happy 19 Bri Girl <3
Summer means VBS aka Vacation Bible School at my church. It occurs one week out of the summer, is Monday to Friday from 6-9 p.m. (5-10 p.m. if you’re a worker haha). Crews of kids go to different stations where they learn more and more about the day’s particular “Bible Point.” It can only be described as stressful fun! Chaotic calm! Crazy relaxation! Basically, a wild little adventure :’)
This year, the theme was Roar! Life is Wild, God is Good. Tell me about it. This year, I was a crew leader (in the past, I’ve been either a preschool or elementary station leader, doing everything from Games to Crafts to Bible Stories), so I led a group of 5 kids to a total of 5 stations, including the full-on dinner my church provides. My kids were so sweet and well-behaved—for the most part. I had the best time with them, and they brought me a lot of joy <3
I got to spend time with my friend’s baby cousin after we had a sleepover at my house this month, and she is EVERYTHING!!!!! SO CUTE!!! MY HEART!!! EXPLODED!!!!!! How is she already going to be 1??
June was FAB in every way. July is already shaping up to be its equal, as I write this. With what I’ve got planned, it can only get better 😉 Seriously, guys, I ADORE SUMMER. What was the highlight of your month?? I’d love to hear it in the comments 🙂 <3
