I thought I’d kick off the Christmassy season with a cheeky little book wishlist for myself. I haven’t done one of these since 2020, and I do actually have a few on my list that I’d love to receive this year if anyone in my family or close circle of friends is reading this right now hehe (;
- Heretics of Dune — I always like to have the next book in the series in my possession before I start whichever one I’m one. I have God Emperor, and once I start it, I’d like to have Heretics
- How the King of Elfhame Learned to Hate Stories — I’ve been wanting this for ages, and I need more Cardan yesterday
- Agnes Grey — More Anne Brontë, always!! I read Tenant last year and have been wanting to read this ever since
- Tales of Angria — More Charlotte too, hehe
- The Professor — see above
- Cloud Cuckoo Land — after reading All the Light We Cannot See earlier this year, I knew I wanted to read more Doerr; his writing is exquisite
- Little Women — I do not have my own copy of this, actually, so I would love one
- Little Men — I haven’t read this yet and would love to this upcoming year
